I was born on April 2nd, 1980 in Porto, a city in northern Portugal, where I spent my childhood. During my adolescence, I resided in Braga but returned to Porto at the age of 15 to pursue the Graphic Arts course at the Escola Secundária de Ensino Artístico Soares do Reis. Following that, I studied sculpture, graphic design, and advertising at the university in 2000, earning my BA from ESEIG.
After completing my studies, I embarked on a career in the field, working for several years as a layout and advert designer in newspapers and magazines. In 2009, I relocated to Lisbon and began working for an Angolan advertising agency, where I designed new brands and key visuals for various companies, including Toyota, Compal, BP, Esso, Standard Bank, TAAG, Cristal, Pernod Ricard, Refriango, Cuca beer, Tigra beer, and more.
In 2017, I returned to Porto with my wife and daughter, taking up a position as a Senior Designer at Nortada beer. However, I eventually made the decision to become a full-time freelancer, collaborating with brands such as Keysight Technologies, as well as smaller companies. In 2018, I partnered with two former colleagues from Nortada to establish our own Craft Beer Brand called Poney Craft Brewers. Since then, we have been brewing limited batches of unique beers.
